The New Life Society provides assistance to individuals in the state of Arizona who have received an organ transplant as well as those individuals waiting for an organ transplant, their families, and caregivers.

1. We have professionals from various transplant related fields provide overviews and discussion sessions that can help them understand real or potential issues with the transplant health, their medications, and interactions that may affect their daily life. Frequently, this involves handouts that the people can take with them to share with their caregivers and families.

2. Additionally, we work to have social workers from various hospitals or offices attend our meetings and help the candidates and transplants understand the in’s and out’s of such things as Medicare, Social Security and SSI (Disability Payments).

Additionally, our efforts to extend the knowledge and understanding of Organ Transplantation and Organ Donation are carried forward by our attendance and visibility at public functions such as Walks, Health Fairs, and other assemblies.
